Top 5 ACTIVE C/A Websites/Comms

This is my LAST one for buffyversetop5. I swear.

So sadly, it is getting harder and harder to find centralized places for this pairing. Even harder to find active ones. What can I say, I love C/A and from the look of the tags (only 9?!), they could use one last PIMP! LOL

Starting off with the LJ communities...

1. ca_stillness is an icon challenge community run by the awesome damnskippytoo. She is always on time with her challenges, she makes great banners, and she loves C/A. Need I say more?

2. ca_lims is another icon challenge community. They are right in the middle of a round now but there have been some amazing icons coming out of there, even from the eliminated people.

3. Angel's Oasis is a more David/Angel centered board. There is a DB daily droolage and a lot of great fic that can be found on The Angel's Oasis Archive. Lysa is also running a seasonal ficathon for C/A on AO.

4. Stranger Things is a Charisma/Cordy centered board. Mostly now, it is a social hang out for CC fans. We talk about other tv shows, upcoming projects for CC, things like that. The archive at Just Fic hasn't been updated in some time but still, lots of great stuff. Very social place. :)

5. TIO is a place for people who like their Angel a bit more...beige or would rather see Angelus paired with Cordelia instead of Angel. My only little quip with this site is that it requires posting by members. So I would say to just check out their fic archive Go Team C/A

Bonus! (Cause I love the bonus) is Wereleopard's Angel Archives Lea (Wereleopard) and Jude (Scorch) write some of the hottest C/A and C/Aus out there. Just an archive though. Also there is Fire Still Burns which is not active but the archives are amazing.

Hi, I just wanted to say that I love your icons. And as far as the Cangel site go, you're right. I really wish there were more and these sites were more active. One thing that I've discovered is that Cangels are generally less vocal than the other shippers which sadly makes it look like there aren't many of us. I would join these places if they had more stuff going on, many of them don't update much or have many people that comment. Before I found out how few sites there were I was playing with the idea of doing a new community (playing being the key word as I've never done one before.) Sorry to babble, just wanted you to know that your not alone in wanting more c/a.

Well, thank you so very much for all the kind words. I am really glad that you like my icons. And I am glad there are more C/A people out there.

Luckily for me, I have found that while Stranger Things isn't that active on the C/A side of things, there are some amazing people there that love to discuss other things and about once a month, we have a good C/A and CC discussion. And I found that I always get a decent amount of feedback at Angel's Oasis.

The LJ icon comms for C/A at active at least but that seems to be it. I think it is really hard to find new C/A fic unless you have C/Aers on your f-list and really, sometimes it is hard to find them. I think you are right about them being less vocal. We seem to be less into giving into the shipwars and we don't really pimp ourselves.

But I always hold out hope. New people discover the series every single day and I have found more C/Aers around the web (Youtube is a great place) and brought them to the other message boards. That is the only thing we have, new people to replace those who have left the fandom.

On fanforum the boards are pretty active, I guess it's because a lot of Cangels I know are there are also Spuffies. There's always nice art work there. The general rule is that you can not post in the threads that promote characters/ships if you hate them nor defend them on the Anti-thread. Though fights still occur on other threads like the "why didn't Angel lose his soul when Connor was born" one and the "Buffy was Connor's mother" one. You can guess why. I can be pretty vocal but I do get tired of hearing the same old stuff debated after I already talked about it.

I love some of the stuff on youtube, I've seen stangerthings but it doesn't have enough Cordelia or Cangel talk for me. People on the IDW boards are excited about the new comic, while I sadly doubt she will return or be mentioned in favor of cookie dough at least there has been some comics with her and Cangel. Not too many though.
