I just realized that I haven't posted my icon awards since October. Way too long to go without showing off the amazing work of some seriously talented banner makers (damnskippytoo, I am looking at you. And you know what that means, hopefully an icon post later this week. :)
(and maybe another Kelly Rants post tomorrow. I'm not a happy monkey and I know a few of you know why.) (And you win internetz cookiez if you know what the first line of this post refers to)

August-October Icon Awards
Oct. 29th, 2007 12:15 amI am going to be killing flists here in a few days. I've written two fics for the Stranger Things Halloween Ficathon. I am also going to do a Halloween rec post with some special surprsies (that will be locked. *winks*). Not to mention some fic awards and I need to do an icon dump. So be prepared! (I can't help it, Halloween is my fave time of year! I get totally into it and yes, it inspired me to write WAY too much!)
These icon awards are from August-October. I took a break for a while so not as many here as usual. But I am back now, with a vengence! RAWR!

Fang Fetish, Forbidden, CA At Last Awards
Aug. 13th, 2007 01:50 pmWell, once more, I was nominated over at the Fang Fetish Awards. Once again, I have no idea who did it. But whoever did, you really have my gratitude, it means a lot to me.
I was nominated for two stories this round. Cosmo's Hands On Guide To Solo Sex that I wrote forleobrat's ficathon and Gloria, How's It Gonna Go Down that I wrote for good__evil's Willy The Snitch month.

I have been writing to write this story for a while and the prompts totally inspired me! Sarah is going to KILL ME for asking her to beta it on HP weekend. (But I will send pie!)

May. 13th, 2007 01:45 pmWell, I have this sneaky suspicion that boy_named_susie nominated my Slayer/Potential story over at sothawards, Serenity on the Hellmouth, but she hasn't owned up to it yet.
If you want to check out the nominated story, the link is here. It is called "River Tricks Early" about a prostitute slash Potential.
And guess what! I won some awards at Fandom of Stars,fandom_of_stars. Yes, that is right. Me. Which just amazes the hell out of me. I am a little sad that none of the people I nominated won though because they really did deserve it. Maybe next round. Hopefully.
