HQ YouTube Videos

Life is keeping me pretty busy, especially with all the writing (most of it total and utter crap) I am doing for my writing class. But I came across this tonight and I really needed to share it.

If you want to watch videos on YouTube in a higher quality, just add "&fmt=18" (without quotes) to the end of the YouTube URL. It doesn't work for ALL videos but it works for a good number of them I have found.

They are also starting to add links at the bottom of videos that say "Watch this video in higher quality." or "Watch this video in lower quality for faster playback." I am not sure why some videos have it already and some (most) don't.

I hope this helps people enjoy the videos in a higher quality. Spread the word to any other YouTubers that you know. :)

Aww, thanks. I hope it works for you. It doesn't work on all videos but the ones it does work for, it is a HUGE difference.
