He didn’t know.

They come to him at night, haunt his dreams. The memories of his old life. Betrayal. Hatred. Anger. Feelings that are foreign and yet in his blood. They seep out at night, dripping from his pores in the forms of nightmares. He is a Greek Tragedy. Banished to an island of lost dreams, lost no longer.

Father will kill the son. Son will kill the father. Metaphors. Surrealism. Post-Modern Nihilism. It seems real.

The son will marry his mother. His eyes torn out, now he can see. He sees in the night terrors.

Now he knows.

Aww, don't call yourself a scumbag. :) I am really glad that you stumbled on my story though. This is actually one of my fave drabbles I ever wrote. I am so into the Oedipus saga and Connor seemed so fitting.

I actually need to write more Connor. I feel really bad for the kid.
