You know, I sat here and I racked my brain trying to think of a show that disappointed me. I'm approaching the question as if you really though you'd love it and ended up hating it considering yesterday's question.

So there is one show that I loved the first two seasons and the third one just went off the rails. I think you all know what one I'm talking about.

Veronica Mars

There is so much win in the first season and a lot of win in the second season but third season...what happened? It's like Veronica goes to college and they forget all the stuff that made the show great. They were dropping storylines like Paris Hilton drops her panties at Fleet Week. And then just randomly killing off characters for the hell of it? Um, okay then. To be honest, I didn't even watch the last few episodes until almost a year after the show was off the air. I was just that disinterested. It sucks when a show you love, you just don't want to watch it anymore.

Runner-Up: Angel for all the behind the scenes bullshit. For shame. For shame. I thought 'feminists' were supposed to treat women a lot better. Know what I'm saying?

Day 01 - A show that never should have been cancelled (Starved)
Day 02 - A show you wish more people were watching (Nurse Jackie)

So much word, bb. On both VM and Ats accounts. Rob could have took VM to another level without changing so much. I don't know what the heck happened. Do you think the CW got to him? Told him a few things? The execs always love to get all up in the business and sometimes force showrunners in a direction they didn't plan. I've always wondered if that was the reason for the wtfuckery in S3.

I wish I knew. I really do. I don't know to be honest but it's so different from the VM we all know and love. I wonder if the transition to college was just too hard for RT to write?

I so agree. I bought the all 3 seasons of VM and I couldn't stop watching the first 2. Then, when I got to s3 I was like "what is this?". It took me forever to get through s3 because my interest started to fall.... greatly.

I have this thing where I have to own all seasons of a tv show if I own the first season. I still haven't bought S3 of VM. Every time it comes up to complete the collection, I'm like I can justify paying that much for it when I know it will sit in plastic wrap.

Yeah, I remember seeing it on sale for $18 at Target, and thinking it was too much...in the end I did buy it more than half off and with a gift card (because of the wanting to have the full set tendency), but now I think I regret it (even if I wasn't spending any of my own money at least)...it had a few good episodes, but otherwise total dreck, everything you say, and I prefer to just pretend season 3 never happened and that the show ended in season 2. *sigh*

God yes. I still block most of s3 out. Talk about the harder they fall. :/

I knoooooooow. So good and S2 had it's stumbles but even when S2 was bad, it was still better than anything in S3!

Oh the last season. Such a waste. Only now, I'm going to watch it again (with booze) and still see if it sucks.

You're way braver than I. I don't know if I could even watch s3 again, no matter how much booze is involved. LOL
