FaFaRazzi Teams

I think most of you all know that I am ADDICTED to the fantasy league games on FaFaRazzi. It is like fantasy football, only with like stuff I actually care about.

Well, they announced the new ANTM Cycle 11 game a few weeks ago and last night I got an email in my box about the GOSSIP GIRL (OMG!) game! So here are all my current teams.

On a sidenote, I've been reading the GG books (I got them for 99 cents a piece at Barnes and Nizzow) and I can't believe that such a fantastic series came from those books. The only character that seems remotely like themselves from the books to screen is Blair. The rest of them...I have no idea. Really. This is probably the first time I've liked the television (or movie) version of a book better than the book. Write it down! It is a first!

I wondered if you were watching PR this season--I figured you were! I don't have a favorite yet which is a little surprising for me. I think a lot of them are talented this season, but I'm not sure if there are a few that are super talented yet???

I am so glad that Daniel and his "cocktail dresses" are gone though. He can take his good taste and go somewhere else. LOL

P.S. I love the new layout!

Plus Chrissy isn't sure that she really cares for Suede either. Time will tell. ;)

Oh, I NEVER miss PR. I even watch PR Canada, Project Catwalk (PR UK), and PR Australia. I am obsessed with this show. LOL

I feel really meh about this season. Blayne is so over the top, he is trying to be Christian without anything to back it up. And Daniel can finally go home and take a damn shower. He looked nasty. And Suede gets on my nerves. His real name is Stephen or something like that and he teaches at some midwestern design vo-tech kind of school.

What is the GG team supposed to do? None of the ones you choose will be killed off or their characters destroyed this season? LOL? *scratches head*

I can't decide who's good on PR yet. It's a weird season because the person I thought was going to be the best got sent home and the rest seem kind of barely competent. *more head scratching*

I was going to write it all out for you but then I realized that they are really going wild with the points for this so it should explain it all here (http://www.fafarazzi.com/omg_how.php). Just your basic X points for GG mentioning them, X for catfight, X for hooking up with someone. It doesn't look like they are doing any kind of negative points for this.

I am so with you about PR. I am not really digging this season. I don't really like that they basically are revealing the guest hosts on the preview and the challenges on the website. I liked being surprised. And really, the talent pool this year isn't really talented at all. I miss the earlier seasons. I miss Andre, Santino, Laura Bennett, Austin.

Yay! I love your PR team! I'd love to see them in the final three - it'd be the first time I could root for all the finalists. I've been waiting so patiently for Daniel to go home (still sad we lost Kelly so early). Keith can go next. Gotta run - gotta go pick out my ANTM team! :)

I can't stand Keith or Daniel so I am right there with you on them getting auf'ed. I loved Kelly too and she should NOT have gone home. That was a bad call.

I don't think Jerrell will make it to the final three. He's a good designer, just look at his Lipstick Jungle outfit. I have this feeling Joe will be in the top three because he can construct decently. And he really responds to the challenges.

Wow, before you posted this I always felt like I was the only book fan who hasn't been bitching about how much better the books are. I read the books before watching the series, and they appealed to me in the same way I think Twilight appeals to a lot of people (although I personally despise Twilight). None of the characters are particularly interesting or likeable (except for Blair and sometimes Vanessa, which is ironic given how much I dislike TV!Vanessa), the storylines are predictable, but somehow I can't stop reading them.

I need to get me more GG icons.

I'm so late in replying! Sorry! I didn't get the notification for this reply.

But I can't believe people like the books over the show. I liked the books but it is a totally different animals. Some of the characters in the book are so different, that it's amazing they got what they did for the TV show. Like book!Chuck. Wow. And I liked book!Vanessa but can't stand TV!Vanessa. I'm so with you there.

I read all the books in a week. They were like crack. I could see things coming, I wasn't sympathetic but I couldn't put them down.

I really want them to bring Aaron on. He was my fave book character. I wish him and Blair would have gotten together but I know that is too risky for a young adult book.

They actually did just bring Aaron on a week ago I believe... except now he's some playboy artist type and he's a childhood friend of Serena's from camp. He and Serena are going out. Totally different from book!Aaron. :(

OH NO! You are so right! I didn't connect it until you said this and then this week! I wanted book!Aaron so bad and book!Cyrus too! That just makes me sad. Where is the all natural cigarette smoking dreadlocked hemp boy? Sniffles!
