Tara drabble for Good__Evil
Title: Broke

She was a horse. Not like the wild mustangs that ran free but rather like one that was broken, spirit crushed thanks to a handler who favored cruelty above respect. Someone had taken the whip to her one too many times, pulled on the reins, let the bit cut into her mouth. Someone had left her starved and shivering in the stable until she couldn’t stand, until that wildness in her was gone. She was broke.
But somehow, over time, that spirit returned. That gleam in her eye that spoke of joy and wildness, of freedom. Brought back by magic.
